Notable Cases
AM v LB Hammersmith and Fulham
A vulnerable refugee family were housed in a mouldy property where an electrical explosion also occurred. As a result of Inaam and Humaira’s several pre-action letters and exhaustive pre-action correspondence, the remedial works in the property took place as a matter of priority.
FC v SSHD
Our client was sexually abused and trafficked, as was her child. Her child became suicidal after the abuse and spending 3 months in a hotel where staff ridiculed her distress, and she had to be moved to a hospital. Inaam and Humaira ensured that the move to a flat close to the family’s support system went smoothly and that the accommodation was suitable for the family.
HT v Croydon Council
Our client had been awaiting the remediation of her property for a year despite the Court having ordered the Council to undertake the works. Following service of a JR PAP by Inaam and Humaira, the Council commenced the work without further delay.
